woo hoo – 200 people like me :)

When I posted this incredibly optimistic promise to link up to everyone who followed me I had 130 followers and that was just in February   I thought to myself, wow, I wonder how cool it would be to hit 200 and then pretty much forgot about it because like a new years resolution list, you really only look back on it on the following new years and its random luck if you did things on your list or not (that is why I stick to 1 resolution).  (wow, run on sentence .. oh well moving on) So I was incredibly surprised last night to see I broke the 200 mark.  One of those subscriptions is actually me because I tried to import all my subscriptions from google reader to wordpress reader and I had myself on my reader to double check that things displayed ok in RSS format (I’m a nerd).  ANYWAY, even not counting that 1 that is me, I’m over 200!!!!

There were a few idea’s jammed into that paragraph up there but I don’t have enough time to re-write, so, here is a bit more on each idea…

Resolutions – for years I only had one or two and they were easy like ‘wear a skirt or dress weekly’ or another year ‘only use stairs’.  One year my resolution was to know the date every day.  This year I have no resolutions but I do have a goal of earning money not in a 8-5 job and I’m under way on that.  Focusing on one thing makes it possible to not completely forget it.

Google reader is GOING AWAY!  I don’t know why… I use it daily but apparently it is getting less use and google is bored or maybe the one guy that knew how to maintain it retired but the bottom line is the days are numbered.  I have looked for other options and I think I might use The Old Reader (found via  MissZoot).  I tried the wordpress feed reader – that is where all the people who subscribe read from (or they get an e-mail) and maybe they know something I don’t but the wordpress reader has no organization !?  I like to read all of the posts from someone then move on to the next person.  Sometimes I want to read these people and other days those people… wordpress had them all just in a big mash up with newest first.  It was like a confusing long winded facebook feed.  I imported all my google reads over to the old reader and we will see how that goes.

So, 200 people!  This is amazing and thank you all so much.  I try to see what people like to read about by when I get more subscriptions but I’m really not sure.  If anyone would like more of some thing and less of others let me know and I’ll see what I can do.  Right now I’m working on a few how-to’s for projects I’ve done.  I also have a funny pinterest fail project too that needs to go up.  I have an endless supply of cute kid pictures.  I always have an opinion on the news.  I tend to just write what comes to mind when I sit but if there was interest in a particular direction I’m game.

What should I do to celebrate?  I’m going to think of something….
