then and now
The other weekend when everyone was under the weather Zoe spent a lot of time looking like this

And that reminded me of a picture I took when she was under a month old

When she was a baby I didn’t know that this was not just a pose, it was the way Zoe is. Maybe only I can see it but look at how her hands curve into her chest, she still does that when she is tired. I know she is only almost 3 not 30 but I wonder how long some of her habits will persist The hands folded in is one, hair twirling is the other big tired sign. I’m sure over time she will leave behind her ‘B’ (blankie) and all her owls but I think she might snuggle just so and twirl her hair for life.
That chair was new for Zoe baby… not so new anymore. We got it because it was nice looking and rocked and I wanted a rocking chair for #2. I highly reccomend skipping the glider since they are either pretty ugly and/or are very expensive, and really don’t match many other things other then nursery furniture. Our recliner is also leather so nice and easy clean up. What I won’t recommend is Ashley furniture the leather coloring is really not so great and wearing off badly where the leather compresses. I tried to condition it and the dye started just rubbing off. I have called and complained but they don’t have any good recourse so I’ll just say their leather is subpar. It still rocks and I can sit in it with 3 girls and that was the reason we got it so that is still good.

You could call it well loved, or broken in!!
